This review is from my standpoint as a singer. It is an old jazz standard that I have been singing for years and years. However this time, using the Jazzbacks.com version, I was able to bring a new interpretation to the song because of the light airy feeling this musical version brings. The Sax solo in particular captured my full attention from the first time I listened to it. As a singer, I listen to the music very carefully for inspiration. When I listen to this song, I wait for that solo and groove on it. This version has now breathed new life into the song and made it one of my favorites to both sing and listen to. That's pretty amazing to me after all these years of hearing it. Honestly, I love most of the arrangements at Jazzbacks. Corcovado, Funny Valentine, and Summertime are tops in my opinion for providing the singer the opportunity to interpret soulfully. I love that!
